Tips & Trucs

Tip & Tricks 1:
You can quickly and easily carry out a stock analysis on the customer portal. Your stock will be immediately sorted by "clicking" batch date. This will provide quick insight into old stock.

Tip & Tricks 2:
When you offer a shipment with dangerous goods to a transport company, you are regarded as being the sender. The sender is obliged to offer a shipment for transport that meets the regulations of the ADR. This mainly means the following:

- The sender must ensure that the hazardous goods have been classified in accordance with the ADR and that they are allowed to be shipped;
- The sender must supply the transport company with the required data and information and possibly with the required transport documents and accompanying documents;
- Only packaging must be used that is permitted for dangerous goods and that has been provided with the correct labelling;
- Shipment instructions and restrictions must be strictly observed.

Tip & Tricks 3:
You can enter an e-mail address at a delivery address in the customer portal. When this field has a value, a tracking URL will be automatically sent to this delivery address from that point on when a shipment is planned for this address. The planned delivery time will be displayed.

Tip & Tricks 4:
When you are the sender of dangerous goods, you must have a safety advisor. Your employees must also be knowledgeable with regard to the ADR. You must draw up a yearly report each year regarding the transport of dangerous goods.

If you store products at Van den Anker, Van den Anker will act as the sender on your behalf. Usually you will not require a safety advisor in that case.
